According to Roc Nation, Jay Z, extremely impressed at Tiwa’s catalogue and profile, gave the go-ahead for the deal yesterday, put together by Roc Nation’s Briant Biggs and Shawn Pecas. So expect BIG things from Tiwa this year!
Already, Tiwa is scheduled to perform at the Made in America concert this September, whose headliner will be Rihanna. Maybe a collaboration between both artistes is in the offing? We can only wait and see.

6 top reasons why women ignore some men on social media

Some men get so pissed off when they are being ignored on social media platforms; some feel so belittled they practically get worked up when they do not get the desired response from a woman.
To be fair, ignoring someone is a mean thing to do; it is rude and not everyone deserves that kind of treatment. But in reality, the only way some women are able to experience peace is when they let go of everything and everyone that could be burdensome to them.
Not everyone is fit to be on the social media in reality; some use the platform for the most obscure things while others use it to keep tab on people. Women are known to be judgmental; most of them make it a point of duty to carefully check out the profile of the men who reach out to them and make their inferences about their personalities from the things they see on the men’s profile.

After going through the profiles, some feel the only logical thing to do is to ignore them, while some get so angry they block whoever would serve as threats to them. Without wasting much time, check out some of the things you might have done to make a woman ignore you on social media:
We need no remind you about the various ills caused through social media platforms in the society. People often portray themselves to be what they are not in order to hype themselves and oppress the people around them.
n view of this, a woman is bound to ignore men whose personalities do not match the profile they have created for themselves. It is beyond hilarious clicking a profile to see some handsome and responsible looking man in the profile picture only to dig further into the profile and then start seeing some bald headed man with tribal marks monstrously drawn around his face with ghetto background.
If the lady does not share any form of ties with the person, it is only natural for her to ignore the person. Do not take it personal if you are that brother.
Seeing grown up men spell their names in the most twisted form on social media is near impossible. As far as some women are concerned, this is a major sign of not being serious coupled with a high degree of low self-esteem.
Why twist your meaningful name in the first place to something that is totally meaningless? That may be intriguing to girls who are just budding, but if you want to gain the attention of responsible women, you need to step up your game in this aspect.
It is beyond frustrating getting to read messages that are filled with grammatical errors from men. Except the recipient of that message is in the same grammatical class with the sender, there might not be a problem. But if this is not the case and you are ignored, the lady in question is more than fair. Messages like that should be reported.
Some men have the problem of misplacing their priorities and end up being ignored by women on social medial platforms. It is really true that we get to meet people every day and no one can ascertain how the meeting would take place.
Some men muck up their chances of good friendship by being too forward with their compliments. Some go ahead spewing promises of love that would be wrongly written and thereby end up irritating the women. A woman would ignore you if this is your style; it is high time you stepped up your game.
Money answereth all things we know; but money could be mocked if the right attitude is not used with it. Some men hit on women on social media by announcing their net worth in order to make them trip. Women who are obviously not moved by money would see this as being ridiculous and would ignore men in this group.
Some of the arrogant men do not know when to launch their boisterous app; they start their very first words to the women with a silly remark most times.
here are some men who feel the best way they could gain a woman’s attention is by trying to impress her with their grammar. They avoid using simple lines and end up muddling the whole sentence up.
Women prefer ignoring men like this as it is almost impossible chatting with them in plain; they would rather drop some big word and use it out of context in order to make the women know they subscribe for word of the day.

PDP chieftain reveals what Sheriff planned to do if he remained chairman

Mr Abdullahi Jalo who was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee has revealed that Senator Ali Mode Sheriff panned to use his chairmanship position to clinch the party’s presidential ticket.
heriff was sacked by the party following his cancellation of the party’s national convention which held in Port Harcourt on Saturday, May 21.
Daily Post reports that Jalo said in Abuja on Monday, May 23 that Sheriff was responsible for the problem in the party due to his ploy to hold on to the chairmanship position so he could later secure the party’s presidential ticket.

He said that if Sheriff continued to lead PDP, the crisis in the party would continue.
He said that the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) during its 71st meeting had agreed that Sheriff’s tenure had expired as he was meant to complete the tenure of Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, which ended in March.
“The convention in Port Harcourt had, seeing the danger ahead, unanimously resolved that we should give way for peace to reign, and the party is more supreme than any individual in the NWC.
“So in order to bring peace, Jerry Gana, Mantu, Turaki, Zainab Maina and many others are insisting that Ali Modu Sheriff should go.”
Meanwhile, the PDP revealed that it had to sack Senator Modu Sheriff as chairman because his leadership style was affecting the party negatively.
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers said he supported Sheriff when he was first made chairman but he had to go for the party to be stable.

18 years after his death, Abacha indicted again, read what he did this time

Late former military dictator, Sani Abacha, is responsible for the woes that have plagued the petroleum sector, Shamsudeen Usman, Nigeria’s former finance minister, has alleged.
Usman accused Abacha of halting the privatisation of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) after taking over power in 1993. He refused to privatise the government parastatal as long as he remained in office.

Abacha accused of looting Nigeria’s funds while alive
Vanguard reports that Usman said this in Abuja at the inauguration of a study group on giving voice and voting power to retail shareholders in the country.

Abacha died in office in June 1998. He is since then accused of looting the country’s treasury while alive.
Various sums, in hard currencies have been repatriated to Nigeria from where the looted funds are allegedly hidden.
The former minister said: “The biggest problem of this country is lack of continuity.
“What happened was that Abacha came and put a cutlass and just cut it off. The reforms of NEPA, the reforms of NNPC all these NITEL, Nigeria Airways, SwissAir had actually paid for it.
“By today, we would have had a national carrier. All these reforms that you are seeing would have been concluded long ago.
“For NNPC, if you see the fight that we fought even with the minister of petroleum who was one of the most powerful ministers that were closest to Babangida. We insisted that the minister of petroleum should not be the chairman of NNPC and that was approved by the National Executive Council.
“So we removed him as the chairman of the NNPC because NNPC was to be restructured as a full commercial entity. But I was surprised that when I came back to government, the minister of petroleum had gone back to become the chairman of NNPC.”
Concerning shareholders and the challenges faced by some of them, he said: “Following the privatisation of some of the public companies, we went to a number of annual general meetings and saw how they were being conducted and we told ourselves that we had to do something to protect the small shareholders from the sharks – because there was one key group of shareholders at a time.
“It was hotly debated at the …consequently, we went to the zones across the country for awareness creation. We even facilitated the establishment of the zonal shareholders associations across the country.
“That was how shareholders associations were established in Port-Harcourt, Lagos, Ibadan, Kano Onitsha, Kaduna and Jos.
“So the retail shareholders should have voice and votes and their votes should count in the corporate democratic process. That was the idea.
“We had code of conduct which we expected all the leaders to be subject. The question is, are the representatives of the shareholders associations observing that code of conducts?
“Yes, the retail shareholders have a voice but the voice is not being used for the purpose for which we designed it. One of the key provisions of the code of conducts was for democratic elections into the executive positions.
“I was amazed to come back, after about 18 years, to find that some of those people that we had when we established the zonal associations are still the leaders of the same associations. So clearly, there was no democracy at all.
“There is supposed to be elections every two years and you can serve only two terms of two years. Yet when I look at the leaders of the associations, they are still the same people.”
An earlier report this year had said the US Congress could vote on a bill to allow President Barack Obama to set aside all or part of the Abacha loot recovered in the US for the victims of Boko Haram. The report was carried by Premium Times.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, who represents the 18th District of Texas, is sponsoring a bill which would allow the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to use money from the recovered Abacha loot to provide relief for families of the abducted Chibok girls.

Speaking on Wednesday (May 11) at a Congressional subcommittee hearing on America’s role in helping Nigeria confront Boko Haram, Jackson Lee sought the Committee’s support for H.R. 528.

NEW FRESH HIT|| PORTHARCOURT ARTISTE DROWN IN WATER || FOLLOW THE STORY HERE ||

This story is about the Niger delta struggle which later turned to a tragic story and conflict when it was abused and migrated to militant groups, factions, gangs etc. As a result, men, women, children lost their lives, the Niger Delta economy crumbled, everything changed negatively.  The militants gradually turned to kidnapping their own People for ransom, it further degenerated to forcefully over communities and even gruesomely killing their sons which brought disagreement between our youths. Gun play became the other of the day, now we live in a dark world, no one knows what will happen next, the more we look the less we see... the need to retrace our steps and refrain from this order to the hospitable way the Niger Delta region is known for.  This song is a reminder of the good brothers and people we lost due to selfish, mindless, and senseless killings. If we can accept the truth then we can change things, it's not too late there's a second chance. Peace awareness! Without which, more crime is what we will see.
